In the process control and automation field, often there is need of interfacing some signals generated by a thermocouple, Pt-100, load cell, current and voltage transducers to the process controllers, PLC, etc. Also, need to feed one signal input to the multiple control device. To take care of common ground loop (Due to common 24V supply) of many sensors to a single system and also avoid loading effect, isolation of these signal from one another is a must.
